I made this for this week's sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You. Size 4x6.
I made this for the patterned paper layout challenge at Use Your Stash. Size 8 1/2 x 11. I kind of created them in reverse. I made the Merci card for my DT work, then the layout and then the Thanks card.
Be sure to sign up for my giveaway too.
ETA: I got a BOB mention over on Card of the Week :-)
The Becoming Green line from Tinkering Ink also included some of my current faves...butterflies! I was on a huge flower kick for awhile and now I seem to have moved onto butteflies. I used the Martha Stewart classic butterfly punch (it accidentally fell in my cart at WM the other day) to punch some of the butterflies from the paper. I added some Prima bling and Doodlebug ABC's. This card is actually more of a mini card at 3x3.
Last but not least I dug into more of my Reminisce papers. It is from the Girly Girl line. I used my EK Success photo corner punch along with some white Pioneer photo corners, once again Doodlebug ABC rubons and Darice bling and pop dotted behind the middle flower for dimension. Size is 4x4.
These were my patterned paper challenge items for August and you can check out what the rest of the design team made at Use Your Stash. Don't forget there is a very cool prize from Cosmo Cricket up for grabs so be sure to get out that paper and enter!
I stamped Hot Off the Press Flight of Fancy butterfly stamps onto embossed swirl Doodlebug paper to add some texture. I then bent the wings slightly and added pop dots for more dimension. The other stamp I used was the sentiment and that is from the Kim Hughes Collection of Cornish Heritage Farms. Paper is Rusty Pickle Pop Star and bling is from The Paper Studio. Size is 5x7
I made these for the July Challenge over at Use Your Stash. The turtle and the sentiment stamp I got in a RAK (along with some other cool goodies) from Kim Hughes. Be sure to check out her blog. Her stamps are so adorable and I see that she is coming out with a cool paper line as well. I wish I had one teaspoon of her talent!
I've already got some other ideas for that turtle floating around in my head including a card that says - You're a Hero in a Half Shell!
