Creative Cuts and More Blog Hop with Prizes!

Hi blog hoppers! Weren't Gerrie's projects great? If you didn't arrive here from Gerrie's blog, you don't want to miss any projects - or the chance to win some great prizes - so be sure to start at the Creative Cuts and More blog. Today we are celebrating the launch of Creative Cuts and More’s brand NEW website so the theme of our projects are Celebrate. There are a number of ways to win so be sure to keep reading!

This card is perfect to celebrate a wedding or anniversary. I ran the Scallop Wrap Cover thru my Cuttlebug using the Dotted Swiss Folder. There were holes punched in the left hand side because it is actually an album cover, so I used some gems to cover that up and add some sparkle!
A7 Card - Plum Delight Bazzill Smooth
4x4 Scallop Wrap Cover - Grape Delight Smooth
Heart #6 set - Sparkleberry Delight and Plum Delight smooth

This card is perfect to give to some to celebrate weight loss or keeping up on a healthy eating plan. This is something I really need to work on myself...maybe I'll save and give it to myself if I get back on the diet/healthy eating wagon?
Apple #01 Small - Tomato Velvet

Creative Cuts and More April Blog Hop!

I was honored to be asked to join in on the fun for the April Blog Hop. If you started here first, be sure to start at the Die Cut Diva blog, so you don't miss anyone! If you have already been hopping along then the next stop on the hop is Lisa.

Here are all the supplies and instructions for the pink card above:
A2 Gate Fold Crescent Card with Band - Color for Card Strawberry Splash - Bazzill Smoothies & Color for Band Raspberry Splash - Bazzill Smoothies
Patterned Paper - Collage Press (2 sided)
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Fabric Alphabet - American Crafts
Cream Button - Jenni Bowlin
Pearls - Kaisercraft
Oval Template - Coluzzle

I used an oval template to cut the pink patterned paper for the front of the card and adhered. I then cut a rectangular piece of cream patterned paper for the inside of the card (the other side of the patterned pink paper) and used a border punch on both ends. I adhered the paper to the inside of the card, added a few pearls to flower centers on the paper and added the alphabet stickers. To the band that goes around the card - I added more letters, a button and placed a pearl in the center of the button.
A2 Circle Window Card #01 Color Choice Pear Crush - Bazzill Smoothies
Paper: Collage Press (two sided)
Felt Flower: K and Company
ABC Stickers: K and Company
White Pearls: The Paper Studio
Teal Pearl: K and Company
Circle Template: Coluzzle

Cut two rectangles from patterned paper (one for inside of card, one for outside). Cut circle from blue patterned paper, slightly larger than hole in the window card. I used a Coluzzle, but you could use other templates or even a cup or bowl. Adhere rectangle (with hole) to the front of card, add pearls around the circle and alphabet stickers. Adhere rectangle of brown patterned paper to the inside of the card and add flower sticker so that it is in the center of the window. Add pearl to center of flower.

Creative Cuts and More Celebrating Women Blog Hop!!

Thank you for stopping by today! Weren't Kayla's projects great? If you arrived at my blog first, be sure to start at the Die Cut Divas blog so you don't miss anyone! There is also a sale going on this week at Creative Cuts and More. Use code woman0310 at checkout to save 15% off your order. This expires March 15, 2010.

I have two projects to share with your today. The first is a mini gift bag. This could be used for a friend or sister you haven't seen in a while. You can fill it with their favorites - candy, lotions, nail polish, gift certificate...anything! I used the Square Bag #01 Color - Tropical Breeze - Bazzill Smoothies, but you can select a variety of colors with this die cut. I also used the Killer Red Tacky Tape. I love this tape, you don't have to worry about your project falling apart!
*This will be featured in the Aug/Sept '10 issued of Simply Handmade*
On my second project I used the Match Box Large - Color Berry Sensation - Bazzill Smoothies (once again you can chose from a large number of colors) and Killer Red Tacky Tape. When I applied the rubons I did this before assembling the box so that I had a nice hard surface to work with. You can also include candies, trinkets etc as a little surprise when opened. Next on the hop is Chris Dickinson! I have also listed everyone on the hop below.

Creative Cuts and More Match Box

I wanted to invite everyone to the Creative Cuts and More blog hop that starts on Monday the 8th. There will be a variety of projects and inspiration so please stop by! I had the honor of being a Guest Designer for them in March and will have more projects to share during the hop. I made this little Valentiney/Lovey box using the Match Box Large Die Cut. (You can get them in a variety of colors) These are very easy to assemble and I recommend using the Killer Red Tacky Tape. The paper I used is from Elle's Studio XOXO collection. You can find this at That Scrappy Girl and comes in a 6x6 pack - a great size for cards and small projects. Although still works great on layouts too!

Creative Cuts and More Mega Recipe Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to the second day of the Creative Cuts & More Mega Recipe Blog Hop which features the Apron Holiday Treats Recipe Kit. There are 24 designers who will be showcasing wonderful pages and yummy Holiday Treat recipes. As part of the celebration CC&M will be having a great sale. For the next six days, they will offer 20% off the entire store. But act quickly as this sale will end on Nov 14th. Make sure you enter this code recipebloghop2009 during checkout. As a continuing part of the celebration, CC&M will be giving away one of these awesome kits. Here is the twist – go through the blog hop and leave comments for each designer. After you have finished the blog hop, return to the Creative Cuts and More blog and instead of leaving a comment, you need to share a recipe to have a chance at winning the kit. Share the recipe on your blog and link it back and get another chance to win the kit.
A little bit about my Apron Kit album I created. I am a simple crafter and an even simple baker, so I kept my project and recipes just that...simple! I put all the recipes on tags, which tuck into the pockets of the apron. I took a picture of how one looks in the apron pocket and then took pictures of each recipe outside of the apron, so you can see the recipes better (click on the picture if needed for a better view) If your recipes are more complicated and need more space, you can always use the back of the tag. This kit was very easy to use and I completed in only a few hours. The only extras I used were a few brads, a couple more pieces of ribbon, some ABC stickers and a Martha Stewart border punch to make the ruffle. My favorite recipe in this book is Granny's Fudge. I used to spend a lot of time with my Great Grandma (Granny), I was even named after her, and she would often let me help her make this fudge. Now head on over to Lisa's blog to see her cute Apron Kit album. If you started at my blog first, please head to the Creative Cuts and More blog to start at the beginning of the hop. If you get lost, I have also listed the blogs of everyone at the end of this post. You can also see who was on the blog hop on Day 1 and used the Treasured Family Recipes Kit, by reading my previous blog post.
