That Scrappy Girl - A Nutmeg Kind of Fall - November Kit

I posted these cards over on That Scrappy Girl's blog today. Both were made with the November Main Kit - A Nutmeg Kind of Fall - featuring Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg. The cute little tag on the first card is from Shabby Chic Crafts. When making these cards I also drew inspiration fromt the Tuesday Trigger over at Paper Craft's Moxie Fab blog. The Nutmeg line goes perfectly with this!

The November Mini Kit at That Scrappy Girl is also up - Look Who's Talking. It features Jillibean Soup's Talk Soup line.
There is also a new sketch challenge due on December 1st. You can win a Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday paper kit. I will be sharing my take on the sketch later this month.

Cherry Hill with a Moxie Fab Ruffle

Here is a little card I made for Cath's Ruffle challenge over on the Moxie Fab blog. The papers/stickers/die cutr are from October Afternoon's Cherry Hill line, pearls are Martha Stewart and the ruffle ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I scored it when the Valentine's stuff was marked down 90 percent....I love a good bargain!

Sugar Canisters Can Be Moxie Fab!

I made this for Cath's Around the House Challenge over at the Paper Crafts Moxie Fab blog. You have until Monday, September 21st at midnight to enter. I reached for my Cosmo Cricket Early Bird papers and this cute little sugar canister. I used my Martha Stewart punch to make the fun edge on the right and my EK Success punch to make the edge on the left.

The Scrappy Shack is Moxie Fab!

I thought the Doodlebug Christmas pack would be perfect for the different Christmas Card Challenges going on over at the Moxie Fab blog. Last week I received a variety of die cuts from The Scrappy Shack including these gorgeous Holiday Frames (available in any color and size) that I thought they also went pefectly with this line. The little brown clay Rudolph is from Creatively Green's Reindeer Fun Trio that I received as one of my prizes last month from ScrapNWin. I'm terrible at categorizing my creations - I would say they all fall under Fun and Cute, the Reindeer card has a hint of Classy and Elegant/Clean and Graphic and even the presents card has a bit of Clean and Graphic too? Help!
P.S. Don't forget about the die cut giveaway over at The Scrappy Shack :-)

Moxie Fab Christmas Creations

Here are a few Christmasy creations for the contest going on over at the Moxie Fab blog. I used My Mind's Eye papers and think this would fall under the Vintage and Shabby contest.

I used Scenic Route papers on this card. On the trees I cut out extra trees, traced the detail on the tree with my glue pen, applied glitter and used pop dots to give the card some dimension. Because of the shiny glitter and gems, I'm think this falls best into the Classy and Elegant contest.

*This will be featured in Scrapbook Trends Create issue - Winter 2010*

I used Bo Bunny papers on the red gift set and We R Memory Keepers (flocked) papers on the blue gift set. I would say these both probably go under the Classy and Elegant contest, although the distressed papers on the blue set also give a vintagey feel.

Christmas in August courtesy of Scrap N Win, ShopMyKI and Creatively Green!

Last month at Scrap N Win, one of my cards placed 2nd in their contest! My prize arrived the other day and so I sat down last night to create. The cute tree is from Creatively Green (Clay Artz-Themed Trios-Reindeer Fun) and the Happy Bingo Card is from ShopMyKi. I still have embellies left, so hope to use more of them soon. Right now I should be packing for a 12 hour crop I am going to tomorrow...but my style is usually start packing 10 minutes before I leave and bring everything but the kitchen sink!
I am also entering this over on the Paper Crafts Moxie Fab blog. There is a Christmas Card challenge going on, so be sure to stop by and enter a card of your own.

She Might Need Some Makeup Tips?

I made this for the monthly sketch challenge over at the Rusty Pickle blog. I used Rusty Pickle's Pirate Princess papers and stickers and also used some Pop Star stickers. Extras include Prima Bling, Petaloo flowers (just had to buy those today and the crop and I used them all!), my EK Success Threading Water punch, Around the Block label maker and tape and some Bazzill Bling cardstock. (You may want to click on the layout for a better view) This happened after Emma asked if she could wear a little lipstick. It was the bright red recital lipstick, but silly me said sure. I didn't realize it also involved the skin around the mouth...I didn't think I'd ever get all of that off! I think she looks a little bit like the Joker..don't tell her that!

The next two cards were made with sketches from Page Plans - here and here. On the first card I used Graphic 45 and Basic Grey papers, Fancy Pants rubons and Petaloo flower. I inked everything with Clearsnap Chestnut Roan. The second care is made with Doodlebug flocked paper (circles) and some kraft cardstock, a couple of Hambly transparancies, some Making Memories stickers, Darice gem and another Petaloo flower. I love the bright colors on this one! (Page Plans will be having a contest the first week of February so if you like my cards, feel free to give me a vote :-)
I made this one with the January sketch from My Sketch World. I must be into green lately! I used Graphic 45 and SEI Papers, a Tim Holtz ticket (thanks Roni!), more Petaloo flowers, Paper Studio flowers brads, K and Company fabric brad, American Crafts rubon and sticker. I distressed edges and then also inked with Clearsnap Chestnut Roan.

Last but not least is a non-sketchy card! I did make it for a challenge though...I actually ended up double dipping as it qualifies for both Moxie Fab and Kim Kesti's challenge this week. I used Hambly transparency, Doodlebug glitter cardstock (I was so shimmery by the end of the crop today!), MAMBI gems, Joann's felt, Die Cuts With A View glittered paper and Around the Block tape and label maker.

Kazan Sketch #17 is Moxie Fab!

I went to a 15 hour crop today so I was able to tackle some cards and even a layout too. I will share over the next week or two. Right now I'm hurriedly posting this before the sketch deadline and then off to bed. Church comes early! This was made with 2 Sketches 4 You's weekly sketch - this week from Kazan. I thought the scallops on the sketch went perfectly with the dress challenge over at Paper Craft's Moxie Fab blog. The black and white paper (it has a velvety texture) is from Hobby Lobby, the white glossy cardstock is Die Cuts With a View, the black glitter cardstock is from Doodlebug and flowers are Creative Imaginations. I didn't put a sentiment, but this card screams of wedding to me. Click on it for a better look.

I was a dork and had my camera with me so I could snap pictures of all my cards. Luckily no one noticed or then you get the questions and weird looks. I had enough problems with a few ladies who were being way too obnoxious (loud) and the same ladies who wouldn't quit touching our supplies and creations. I little frustrating when you have glitter and wet Stickles on your projects! I have manners though and don't tell anyone to shut up or to keep their mitts off!
