Variety of Cards - Basic Grey June Bug

*Two cards have been removed for publication in Paper Creations Spring 2010 issue*

Here are some cards I made with the Basic Grey June Bug line. My favorite part of the whole line is the paper with the doggies on it and the felt embellishes - especially the dog. He's going onto either a card or layout soon! I was able to pick up some of the papers and embellies from That Scrappy Girl at a recent crop. It will be available in her online store soon or email her directly to get some into your hands.

Gift Card Holder - Scrap Within Reach Afternoon Tea Collection

Here is a little gift card holder I made using the Scrap Within Reach Afternoon Tea Collection. I used a number of different papers and also used the ABC die cuts. I kept this project fairly one dimensional, since you really can't add much bulk to the inside. The GC holder is from Creative Imaginations. Be sure to check out the Scrap Within Reach blog for sneaks of their two new lines - Carnival Ride and Paper Boy that are being released at CHA Summer 2009. There is also a giveaway!

October Afternoon - Cherry Hill and Road Map Collections

I don't know what has gotten into me, but I've been on a layout kick lately. Not a bad problem to have I guess! This layout was made with the Cherry Hill collection. I loved every single part of the collection, so I ended up buying the whole collection pack - oops! The bird was my favorite die cut and so no matter what, this bird was ending up on this layout somehow :-) Extras include some Making Memories ribbon and Creative Cafe buttons.
*This card will be featured in Crafts N' Things February 2010 issue*

While cropping with That Scrappy Girl last week, I also picked up most of the Road Maps collection - oops again! I need to get some trip pictures printed and hope to put together a mini album soon. This line will be listed in her online store soon, so if you are interested, shoot her an email for now. Extras include Adorn It mini alphas, Pink Paislee brad and some ribbon from who knows where.

Chatterbox Together collection

Here are a few things I've made recently with the Chatterbox Together line. I even did a layout with my picture on it...which doesn't happen very often! Although the cute felt embellies and die cuts are sold out, you can still find most of the papers over at That Scrappy Girl. (The Tweet card was made with a sketch from Just My Sketches). Extras include some American Crafts Vinyl Thickers, Pink Paislee ABC stickers and Adorn It mini alpha stickers.

I'm finally getting a chance to get some things photographed and posted, so more blog posts are on their way - beware :-)

Easy Breezy Layout - Scrap Within Reach Emerson Collection

This is my daughter Emma and her daddy - first time without the training wheels! I've had these pictures printed for awhile and I thought the colors in the pictures went well with the Emerson line. These pictures must be about 2 years old as she hasn't had long hair since preschool - she is growing up so fast...sniff...sniff.... (The training wheels did not stay off long, she got tired of crashing! They did officially come off a few months ago).

Papers: Scrap Within Reach - Emerson
Stickers: K and Company
Glitter: Martha Stewart (red), Treehouse Studio (pink, orange) - used glue pen to outline the flowers and added glitter for some sparkle.
Size: 12x12

So You Say It's My Birthday Giveaway!

I turn the big 3-5 today (July 9th)...there I said it! In honor of that I am giving away a set of Lil Gal Rubber Mounted Stamps from the Kim Hughes Collection of Cornish Heritage Farms. I ended up with two sets and so why not share my extra one! I've included a card I made awhile ago with the butterfly stamp. I love that I can just attach the stamps right to a stamping block. Very easy to use!

I will leave this giveaway open through August 1st. I won't draw until August 2nd as I'm going on a 48 hour crop retreat that weekend with my sisters and a couple of friends at the Craft Cottage. I'm so excited for that!

Here's the deets: Leave a comment about anything - it could be your favorite product, a new collection coming out your excited about, a favorite tip...anything goes! Feel free to share this giveaway with others. If you post about my giveaway somewhere else, leave me an extra comment for an addt'l draw. Be sure to leave a a way for me to contact you if you don't have a profile. Sorry open only to US and Canada folks.

You Go Girl!

Miss Emma is the featured artist over at Creative Mini Albums today. They are featuring a mini album she made recently. You can see some additional pictures on an earlier post here or click on the Miss Emma's Creations link on the right for some of her other projects. I can't wait till she's a little older and I can take her to crops! You go Miss Emma!! I have to admit I'm a little jealous - she is getting way more scrap love than I have lately :-)

Just My Sketches July 15 Reveal - Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday

Here is my card I made for this month's sketch at Just My Sketches. I used papers and ribbon from the Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday line, Autumn Leaves buttons and some American Crafts Foam Thickers. I have soooo much ribbon and I'm trying to do a better job of actually using it! If somewhere had a bow tying class...I would definitely sign up!

Scrapbook Trends Color Challenge

*This card will be featured in the April 2010 issue of Crafts N' Things*

There was a color combo challenge posted over on the Scrapbook Trends blog this week. The color combo that she used went perfectly with some of the Scrap Within Reach Industrial Park papers that I had, so I used her combo. I added a dash of red with the gems.

And don't forget about my giveaway :-)
